Arcus Gel Blaster
My idea is to extend the market for gel blasters by innovative product redesign. The problem that this GI venture seeks to address is the restrictive regulatory framework for gel blasters, which classifies gel blasters as imitation firearms and requires owners to obtain a firearms licence and specialised storage equipment. To address this issue, the venture has an idea for a gel blaster product that is designed as a bow rather than a firearm, bypassing current regulations.

Keola Surf Wax
My idea is to create a 100% natural surf wax which reduces toxic chemicals entering the ocean. To address this issue, the venture has an idea for a surf wax which not only is chemical free, and made with 100% natural ingredients, but which also promotes a message of empowerment for female surfers.

SpeechPal
My idea is to develop an app that facilitates communication for individuals with speech and communication difficulties. The problem that this GI venture seeks to address is that the apps currently available lack modern functionality, inclusivity and user-centred vocabulary. To address this issue, the venture has an idea for an app that can be used as either a sole form of voice output or as a supplement. The aim of the app is to promote participation in daily activities and improve quality of life.
